FAQ's
What is the methodology behind the lessons?
We use a combination of methods like storytelling, learning grammar structures, emulated situations and real life conversations. The most important thing for us is the practice of conversation. We will prioritize developing your confidence when speaking.
How is the content organized? What are levels?
We use books to teach and learn Spanish based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). So your learning will follow a structure. You will have an exam and we will know what you need to improve. The CEFR organizes language proficiency in six levels, A1 to C2, which can be regrouped into three broad levels: Basic User, Independent User and Proficient User.

What is the Lesson Cancelation and Reschedule Policy
Lessons may be rescheduled or canceled at no cost to the student provided at least 24 hours’ advance notice is given. This excludes weekends and bank holidays: for example, to cancel or reschedule a class arranged for 09:00 on Monday morning, notification must be received by “Speak Like a Mexican” by 09:00 the Friday before.
Any lessons canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be considered a ‘late cancellation’ and will be charged in full.
